횡격막(橫膈膜/橫隔膜)은 배와 가슴 사이를 분리하는 근육을 뜻한다. 이를 가리키는 영어 단어로 “Diaphragm”이라는 단어가 있다.
이는 해부학적으로는 횡격막을 뜻하기도 하고, 기계 등의 칸막이판, 전화기나 확성기 등의 진동판을 뜻하기도 한다.
