“Demand”는 명사로 쓰이는 경우에는 “요구, 부담, 수요”와 같은 뜻으로 쓰이고, 동사로 쓰이는 경우에는 “요구하다, 묻다, 따지다, 필요로 하다.”와 같은 뜻으로 쓰인다.
