“Synthesize”라는 단어는 동사로 쓰이는 단어로 무언가를 합성하거나 합쳐서 하나로 만드는 것을 뜻한다. 합성의 대상은 화학 물질이 될 수 있기도 하고, 소리나 음악 등이 될 수도 있으며, 사상이나 스타일 등이 될 수 있다.
