미신(迷信)은 비과학적이고 비합리적으로 여겨지는 믿음이나 그러한 믿음을 가지는 것을 뜻한다. 이는 영어에서도 찾을 수 있는 개념인데, 이러한 미신을 영어로는 “Superstition”이라고 한다.
