디아스포라는 고국을 떠나는 사람이나, 집단의 이동을 맗나다. 혹은 다른 나라에서 살며 일하기 위한 유대인들의 이동을 말하기도 한다.
이를 영어로는 “Diaspora”이라고 사용한다.
